| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | memories of Robert W. Lee of Tyler, who passed away on |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | July 19, 2018, at the age of 70; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The son of Robert and Kathleen Lee, Robert Lee was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | born in Dallas on February 14, 1948, and he grew up with the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | companionship of his sister, Sandra; he attended Baylor |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | University, where he earned both his bachelor's and juris doctor |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | degrees; after beginning his legal career as an assistant city |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | attorney, he went on to work in private practice until his |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | retirement; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Lee enjoyed the love and support of his wife, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Vinni, and they shared a rewarding marriage that spanned 46 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | years; he took great pride in his children, Jason, Christa, Greg, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and Traci, and later in life, he had the pleasure of welcoming |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | into his family nine grandchildren, Lynsey, Lauren, Aidan, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Rebecca, Andrew, Annalise, Makayla, Kaydence, and Oscar; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, An avid sports fan, Mr. Lee coached many young men |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | and women over the years, and he played golf and baseball |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | whenever he got the chance; moreover, he was a valued member of |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Green Acres Baptist Church; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Robert Lee lived a life that was rich in personal |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | and professional achievements, and he will forever be a source of |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Robert W. Lee |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; and, |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | be it further |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |

| 33 | 33 | | prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns |
