| 4 | 4 | | WHEREAS, The BBQ Is Back Cook-Off and Celebrate |

| 5 | 5 | | Littlefield is held each year in June; it is sanctioned by the |

| 6 | 6 | | International Barbeque Cookers Association as one of the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | organization's state championship cook-offs; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, This exemplary event draws accomplished pit |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | masters from across the state who put their skills to the test as |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | they compete for prizes in several categories; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | the BBQ Is Back Cook-Off and Celebrate Littlefield is sure to |

| 13 | 13 | | provide cuisine that will satisfy the most discriminating of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | palates; now, therefore, be it |

| 15 | 15 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |

| 16 | 16 | | Legislature, hereby commend the sponsors of and participants in |

| 17 | 17 | | the BBQ Is Back Cook-Off and Celebrate Littlefield and extend to |

| 18 | 18 | | them best wishes for a successful event; and, be it further |
