| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Leadership Mainland was established in 1989 by |

| 7 | 7 | | the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce as a means of |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | providing promising young leaders with an understanding of the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | resources, strengths, and values of the region; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The graduates of this exceptional program have |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | had a positive impact on the growth and prosperity of the Texas |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Gulf Coast, and the current class is sure to extend that record of |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | success; now, therefore, be it |

| 14 | 14 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |

| 15 | 15 | | Legislature, hereby commend the members of the 2019 class of |

| 17 | 17 | | community and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; |
