| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |

| 6 | 6 | | passing of Reynaldo Canchola Arteaga of San Antonio on |

| 7 | 7 | | April 11, 2019, at the age of 75; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Reynaldo Arteaga was born on July 26, 1943; |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | affectionately known as "Canelo," he grew up in Cementville, the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | community located at the site of the San Antonio Portland Cement |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Company; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Arteaga enjoyed the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | love and support of his wife, Josefina Muñoz Arteaga, with whom |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | he shared a rewarding marriage that spanned more than half a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | century; he was the devoted father of two children, Anna and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Reynaldo, and he had the pleasure of welcoming into his family |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | four grandchildren, Emiliano, Antonio, Victor, and Pablo; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Although Reynaldo Arteaga is greatly missed, he has |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | left his loved ones with many cherished memories, and he will |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | forever hold a special place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Reynaldo Canchola |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Arteaga and extend heartfelt sympathy to his relatives and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | friends; and, be it further |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | this day, it do so in memory of Reynaldo Arteaga. |
