| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Blackhawk Modifications, Incorporated, on the occasion |

| 4 | 4 | | of its 20th anniversary; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Blackhawk Modifications was founded in Waco in 1999 |

| 6 | 6 | | under the leadership of Jim Allmon, Dale Griffin, and Matt Shieman; |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the company is now being aligned with three other aviation-based |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | companies; the four groups, Blackhawk Modifications, Blackhawk |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Composites, Blackhawk Aerospace Solutions, and Blackhawk Aircraft |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Sales will be branded as Blackhawk Aerospace; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Since its founding, Blackhawk Modifications has |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | grown to become a global leader in providing aircraft updates, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | modifications, and performance enhancements for turboprop fleets |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | around the world; it has produced technological advancements in |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | engine design and other ancillary products that allow older |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | aircraft to remain in service, and more than 800 clients |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | worldwide are currently flying aircraft with Blackhawk engine |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | upgrades; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, The company is marking its 20th anniversary with a |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | facility expansion that will double its footprint in Waco and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | provide a showcase for aircraft that have been refurbished under |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | the successful Phoenix by Blackhawk program; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Blackhawk Aerospace will be one of the foremost |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | designers and builders of advanced aircraft and aircraft |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | components and will maintain the superb customer service and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | product quality that customers have come to expect from |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Blackhawk; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature, hereby commend the management and staff of |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Blackhawk Modifications, Incorporated, on their commitment to |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | innovation and aircraft safety and extend to them best wishes for |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | a memorable 20th anniversary celebration; and, be it further |
