| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Ayron Walker, who has completed the requirements for |

| 4 | 4 | | earning the Girl Scout Gold Award; she is being presented the |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | coveted award by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas on |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | May 19, 2019; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The Gold Award is the highest award that can be |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | earned by Girl Scouts and only a few Girl Scouts attain this |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | distinguished honor; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Through the process of earning a Gold Award, Girl |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Scouts develop leadership and organizational skills, and their |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | commitment to the betterment of their community forms the basis |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | for a lifetime of active citizenship; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ayron has shown leadership by designing and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | implementing a service project that will be of lasting benefit to |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | her community; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In receiving the Girl Scout Gold Award, Ayron has |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | brought great honor to herself, her family, her council, and her |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | community; she is truly a shining example to the young people of |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | this state; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby commend Ayron Walker on earning the Girl |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Scout Gold Award and congratulate her on this outstanding |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | accomplishment; and, be it further |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
