| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Stephen Carroll on the auspicious occasion of his |

| 4 | 4 | | graduation from Blooming Grove High School; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Stephen is an exemplary young man who has earned |

| 6 | 6 | | the respect of his teachers and his fellow students; talented and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | hardworking, he establishes and pursues his goals with |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | perseverance and a clear vision of his future; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, He is highly competitive and has excelled in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | athletics over the course of his high school career; in his |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | senior year alone, he was an all-district and all-Golden Circle |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | wide receiver in football, was named the Golden Circle boys' |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | basketball most valuable player, qualified for regionals in five |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | track and field events, and won the Class 3A state championship |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | in the long jump; he has signed with Southern Arkansas University |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | to play football; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of a high school |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | education with success and distinction, Stephen now embarks on an |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | adventure into a world for which he is well prepared and which |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | holds countless exciting opportunities for him; he and his |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | classmates will attend commencement exercises on May 31, 2019; |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby commend Stephen Carroll on his many |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | achievements and extend to him best wishes for continued success |

| 26 | 26 | | in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|---|
