| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the Milano High School boys track team, which recently |

| 4 | 4 | | won the Class 2A University Interscholastic League State Track |

| 5 | 5 | | and Field Championship title; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Milano Eagles were victorious in their recent |

| 7 | 7 | | appearance at the state championship finals at the Mike A. Myers |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Stadium in Austin; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The athletes have demonstrated great talent and |

| 10 | 10 | | perseverance throughout the school year, and team members can |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | take pride in their outstanding performances; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Under the superior leadership of a highly skilled |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | coaching staff, the Eagles have developed exceptional teamwork |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and discipline; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Milano High School and the City of Milano are |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | proud of the Eagles for their hard work, their impressive skills, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | and their fine sportsmanship; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature, hereby commend the Milano High School boys track team |

| 20 | 20 | | on winning the Class 2A track championship; and, be it further |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
