| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Rose Marie Lehmann for 30 years of outstanding service |

| 4 | 4 | | with the Girl Scouts of the United States of America; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Rose Marie Lehmann has been the leader of Troop |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | 367 for three decades, and under her leadership, many of the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | troop's members have earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Award; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Lehmann has also served as a mentor and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | trainer for other Girl Scout leaders and as a service unit manager; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | she has been instrumental in the process of creating and sustaining |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | a wide range of popular Girl Scout events and in the success of |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | sales efforts for the famed Girl Scout cookie program; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, She has received honors from the Girl Scouts of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Greater South Texas, including the Appreciation and Honor Pins |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | and the Labor of Love Award; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Rose Marie Lehmann has had a positive impact on |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the lives of countless Girl Scouts, and it is truly fitting that |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | she receive special recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby commend Rose Marie Lehmann on her |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | exceptional service with the Girl Scouts of the United States of |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | America and extend to her best wishes for continued success in |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
