| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and |

| 3 | 3 | | promise, Christian Alexander Vidaurri of Troop 405 in Georgetown |

| 4 | 4 | | advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, |

| 5 | 5 | | and Life classes before recently attaining the rank of |

| 6 | 6 | | Eagle Scout; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, In receiving the coveted Eagle Badge, this fine |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | young man has become one of the select few to achieve this |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | distinguished honor; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, By conducting a service project that allowed him |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | to exercise his leadership abilities, Christian has completed |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | the requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout and has at the same |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | time benefited his community; for his project, he built four |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | raised limestone flower beds for the Christ Lutheran Church |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | preschool; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, This personable young man has brought great honor |

| 17 | 17 | | to himself, his family, and his troop in joining the elite corps |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | of Eagle Scouts; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Christian is truly a shining example to his troop |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | and to the young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby commend Christian Alexander Vidaurri on |

| 23 | 23 | | earning the rank of Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his |

| 24 | 24 | | outstanding achievement; and, be it further |
