| 8 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 437.310(b), Government Code, is amended | |
| 10 | 10 | to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (b) The fund consists of: | |
| 12 | 12 | (1) donations made to the fund; | |
| 13 | 13 | (2) revenue received by the Texas State Guard from the | |
| 14 | 14 | sale of uniforms and insignia to members of the guard; [and] | |
| 15 | 15 | (3) depository interest and investment income earned | |
| 16 | 16 | on money in the fund; and | |
| 17 | 17 | (4) money appropriated, credited, or transferred to | |
| 18 | 18 | the fund by the legislature. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 20 | 20 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 21 | 21 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 22 | 22 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 23 | 23 | Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
