The bill would amend the Election Code to require the disclosure of entities with an ownership interest in a vendor of voting system equipment. According to the Secretary of State, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  Local Government ImpactAccording to the election administrators in Fort Bend, Brazoria, Hays, Hood, Tarrant, and Cameron counties, no significant fiscal impact to counties is anticipated.
