It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the response and resilience of certain electricity service providers to major weather-related events or other natural disasters could be absorbed using existing resources.The bill creates the Texas Utility System Restoration Corporation and notes that the state shall not budget for or provide any general fund appropriations to the corporation.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
