The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to allow the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) to partner with one or more non-profit organizations which serve veterans for the purpose of promoting hunting and fishing among veterans. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2021.Based on information provided by TPWD, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
