The bill would amend the Government Code and the Tax Code to establish a veterans' land bank program to be administered by the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation. The bill would require the corporation to adopt a land bank program and establish or approve a land bank for the purpose of acquiring, holding, and transferring unimproved real property to low-income veteran households.
