| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Sections 478.0001(3) and (7), Government Code, |

| 12 | 12 | | as effective April 1, 2021, are amended to read as follows: |

| 112 | 112 | | 478.0102 for an event described by Section 478.0001(3)(G) or (W), |

| 113 | 113 | | the remaining provisions of this chapter apply to that event as if |

| 114 | 114 | | the event satisfied the eligibility requirements under Section |

| 115 | 115 | | 478.0051(b)(1). |

| 116 | 116 | | SECTION 3. To the extent of any conflict, this Act prevails |
|---|
| 117 | 117 | | over another Act of the 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021, |

| 118 | 118 | | relating to nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted |
|---|
| 119 | 119 | | codes. |
|---|
| 120 | 120 | | SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
