410 AN ACT
511 relating to the designation of a portion of Farm-to-Market Road 570
612 in Eastland County as the Deputy Kenneth Maltby Memorial Highway.
713 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
814 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
915 is amended by adding Section 225.190 to read as follows:
1016 Sec. 225.190. DEPUTY KENNETH MALTBY MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a)
1117 The portion of Farm-to-Market Road 570 in Eastland County between
1218 its intersection with Interstate Highway 20 and its intersection
1319 with Farm-to-Market Road 2214 is designated as the Deputy Kenneth
1420 Maltby Memorial Highway. The designation is in addition to any
1521 other designation.
1622 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1723 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1824 designation as the Deputy Kenneth Maltby Memorial Highway and any
1925 other appropriate information; and
2026 (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
2127 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2228 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
