88 Controlled Substances Act.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Section 481.103(a), Health and Safety Code, is
1111 amended to read as follows:
1212 (a) Penalty Group 2 consists of:
1313 (1) any quantity of the following hallucinogenic
1414 substances, their salts, isomers, and salts of isomers, unless
1515 specifically excepted, if the existence of these salts, isomers,

269269 SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only
270270 to an offense committed on or after the effective date of this Act.
271271 An offense committed before the effective date of this Act is
272272 governed by the law in effect on the date the offense was committed,
273273 and the former law is continued in effect for that purpose. For
274274 purposes of this section, an offense was committed before the
275275 effective date of this Act if any element of the offense occurred
276276 before that date.
277277 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
