Dutton, Jr., Chair, House Committee on Public Education     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB3256 by Harless (Relating to the confidentiality of a public school teacher's or principal's home or residence address in certain government records and documents.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to establish a procedure, on showing of a driver license holder's employment as a teacher or principal at a public school, to omit the residence address of the license holder on the license holder's license and to instead include the street address of the public school.
