| 7 | 15 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 16 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 9 | 17 | | is amended by adding Section 225.190 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 10 | 18 | | Sec. 225.190. U.S. BORDER PATROL AGENT ROGELIO MARTINEZ |
|---|
| 11 | 19 | | MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of Interstate Highway 10 in |
|---|
| 12 | 20 | | Culberson County between mile marker 150 and mile marker 155 is |
|---|
| 13 | 21 | | designated as the U.S. Border Patrol Agent Rogelio Martinez |
|---|
| 14 | 22 | | Memorial Highway. The designation is in addition to any other |
|---|
| 15 | 23 | | designation. |
|---|
| 16 | 24 | | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: |
|---|
| 17 | 25 | | (1) design and construct markers indicating the |
|---|
| 18 | 26 | | designation as the U.S. Border Patrol Agent Rogelio Martinez |
|---|
| 19 | 27 | | Memorial Highway and any other appropriate information; and |
|---|
| 20 | 28 | | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at |
|---|
| 21 | 29 | | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. |
|---|
| 22 | 30 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
