| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 2154.001(8), Occupations Code, is | |

| 11 | 11 | (8) "Illegal fireworks" means a fireworks device | |
| 12 | 12 | manufactured, distributed, or sold in violation of: | |
| 13 | 13 | (A) this chapter; or | |
| 14 | 14 | (B) an ordinance or order enacted by a county or | |
| 15 | 15 | municipality prohibiting or further regulating fireworks. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
