The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the authority of the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to rescind a certificate of compliance issued for an improvement for purposes of coverage through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association. Based on information provided by TDI, this analysis assumes that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
