| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 418, Government Code, is | |
| 12 | 12 | amended by adding Section 418.0125 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 418.0125. LIMITATION ON EXECUTIVE ORDERS. The | |
| 14 | 14 | governor may not issue an executive order, proclamation, or | |
| 15 | 15 | regulation during a declared state of disaster that prohibits a | |
| 16 | 16 | business or category of businesses from operating during the | |
| 17 | 17 | declared state of disaster. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
