8	5		AN ACT
9		-	relating to the deputy ~~clerks appointed~~ to ~~certain~~ statutory
10		-	probate ~~courts~~.
	6	+	relating to the appointment of a deputy clerk to each statutory
	7	+	probate court.
11	8		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
12	9		Section 1. Section 25.0173 (g), Government Code, is amended
13	10		to read as follows:
14		-	(g) The county clerk shall appoint a deputy clerk for each
15		-	statutory probate court. [An appointment takes effect when it is

29		-	Bexar County. The salary shall be paid in equal monthly
30		-	installments as provided by law for the payment of salaries of
31		-	deputy clerks.]
32		-	SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
33		-	a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
34		-	provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
35		-	Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
36		-	Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
