| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 48.104, Education Code, is amended by | |
| 12 | 12 | adding Subsection (e-1) to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (e-1) For each student who is a homeless child or youth as | |
| 14 | 14 | defined by 42 U.S.C. Section 11434a or in the conservatorship of the | |
| 15 | 15 | Department of Family and Protective Services, a school district is | |
| 16 | 16 | entitled to an annual allotment equal to the basic allotment | |
| 17 | 17 | multiplied by 2.41. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
