| 10 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 466.015, Government Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 12 | 11 | | adding Subsection (b-2) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 12 | | (b-2) The commission shall adopt rules permitting a lottery |
|---|
| 14 | 13 | | game drawing to be held on a Sunday. |
|---|
| 15 | 14 | | SECTION 2. Not later than January 1, 2022, the Texas Lottery |
|---|
| 16 | 15 | | Commission shall adopt the rules required by Section 466.015(b-2), |
|---|
| 17 | 16 | | Government Code, as added by this Act. |
|---|
| 18 | 17 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 19 | 18 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 20 | 19 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 21 | 20 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 22 | 21 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
