| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 418.055(d), Government Code, as added by | |
| 11 | 11 | Chapter 285 (H.B. 2320), Acts of the 86th Legislature, Regular | |
| 12 | 12 | Session, 2019, is repealed. | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 14 | 14 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 15 | 15 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 16 | 16 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 17 | 17 | Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
