                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             May 2, 2021       TO: Honorable Angie Chen Button, Chair, House Committee on International Relations & Economic Development     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB4067 by Ordaz Perez (relating to the establishment of the small business assistance disaster recovery program.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Texas Government Code relating to the establishment of the small business assistance recovery program. The program would be facilitated through the Texas Economic Development and Tourism Office within the Office of the Governor.It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed by the Trusteed Programs Within the Office of the Governor using existing resources.According to the Office of the Attorney General, Comptroller's Office, and the Texas Workforce Commission, no fiscal impact is anticipated from the provisions of the bill.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
