11 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
12 | 9 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 42, Human Resources Code, | |
13 | 10 | is amended by adding Section 42.027 to read as follows: | |
14 | 11 | Sec. 42.027. EMPLOYEE DATABASE. (a) The commission shall | |
15 | 12 | develop and maintain on the commission's Internet website a | |
16 | 13 | searchable database that is accessible to child-care providers and | |
17 | 14 | includes the name, birthdate, and license number, if applicable, of | |
18 | 15 | each employee or former employee of a child-care facility or | |
19 | 16 | registered family home: | |
20 | 17 | (1) whom the commission has determined to be | |
21 | 18 | responsible for a violation of the minimum standards of any | |
22 | - | facility, including a family home, regulated by the commission; | |

23 | 20 | (2) who has had a relevant license, registration, or | |
