| 10 | 10 | Code, is amended by adding Section 86.044 to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | Sec. 86.044. COLD WEATHER PREPAREDNESS. The commission by | |
| 12 | 12 | rule shall require an operator of a gas well to implement measures | |
| 13 | 13 | to prepare the well to operate in sustained temperatures of 20 | |
| 14 | 14 | degrees Fahrenheit or below. | |
| 15 | 15 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
