9 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

10 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Section 51.002(f-1), Property Code, is amended |
---|
11 | 13 | | to read as follows: |

12 | 14 | | (f-1) If a county maintains an Internet website, the county |
---|
13 | 15 | | must prominently post a notice of sale filed with the county clerk |
---|
14 | 16 | | under Subsection (b)(2) on the website on a page where the county |
---|
15 | 17 | | posts other auction information and that is publicly available for |
---|
16 | 18 | | viewing without charge or registration. Along with each notice of |
---|
17 | 19 | | sale posted under this subsection, the county must post the |
---|
18 | 20 | | following information on the same website page on which the notice |
---|
19 | 21 | | is posted: |
---|
20 | 22 | | (1) the date, time, and location of the sale; |
---|
21 | 23 | | (2) requirements for bidder eligibility; and |
---|
22 | 24 | | (3) where and to whom to make a payment for the |
---|
23 | 25 | | property. |
---|
24 | 26 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
