| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 802.003(d), Government Code, is amended | |
| 12 | 12 | to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (d) The State Pension Review Board may file an appropriate | |
| 14 | 14 | pleading, in the manner provided by this section for filing by an | |
| 15 | 15 | individual, for the purpose of enforcing a requirement of: | |
| 16 | 16 | (1) Subchapter B or C; or | |
| 17 | 17 | (2) other law that imposes a requirement on a public | |
| 18 | 18 | retirement system in relation to the board[, other than a | |
| 19 | 19 | requirement of Section 802.101(a), 802.101(d), 802.102, | |
| 20 | 20 | 802.103(a), or 802.104]. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
