9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 502.045, Transportation Code, is amended | |
11 | 11 | by adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows: | |
12 | 12 | (d-1) A county assessor-collector shall credit to the | |
13 | 13 | county road and bridge fund 50 percent of revenue from an additional | |
14 | 14 | charge described by Subsection (d). | |
15 | 15 | SECTION 2. Section 502.198(a), Transportation Code, is | |
16 | 16 | amended to read as follows: | |
17 | 17 | (a) Except as provided by Sections 502.045(d-1), 502.058, | |
18 | 18 | 502.060, 502.1911, 502.192, 502.356, and 502.357 and Subchapter H, | |
19 | 19 | this section applies to all fees collected by a county | |
20 | 20 | assessor-collector under this chapter. | |
21 | 21 | SECTION 3. Section 502.045(d-1), Transportation Code, as | |
22 | 22 | added by this Act, applies only to an additional charge described by | |
23 | 23 | that subsection that is received by a county assessor-collector on | |
24 | 24 | or after the effective date of this Act. | |
25 | 25 | SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
