| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |

| 6 | 7 | | passing of Gary Womble Mitchell of Robert Lee on June 1, 2019, at |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born on March 11, 1941, Gary Mitchell was the son of |

| 9 | 10 | | Maurice Wood Mitchell and LaVerna Womble Mitchell, and he grew up |

| 10 | 11 | | with the companionship of a sister, Marla Anderson; he attended the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | 19th Texas Game Warden Academy in 1966 and enjoyed a fulfilling |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | career as a game warden; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Mitchell married Penny Haulman, and they became |

| 14 | 15 | | the proud parents of four children, Melody, Jody, Heather, and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Samuel; he later wed Bonnie Tredaway, who preceded him in death; in |

| 16 | 17 | | 1997, he exchanged the vows of matrimony with the former Dottie |

| 17 | 18 | | Cultra, with whom he shared a rewarding union that spanned more than |

| 18 | 19 | | two decades; with the passing years, he experienced the pleasure of |

| 19 | 20 | | welcoming into his family seven grandchildren, Albert, Thomas, |

| 20 | 21 | | Jacob, Melyssa, Austynn, Stormy, and Montana, and a |

| 21 | 22 | | great-grandchild, Adrian; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Although Gary Mitchell is deeply missed, he left his |

| 23 | 24 | | family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will forever |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
