| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The passing of Mark Christopher Renfro of Springtown |

| 6 | 7 | | on April 23, 2020, at the age of 56, has deeply saddened his family |

| 7 | 8 | | and friends; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mark Renfro was born on February 19, 1964, and |

| 9 | 10 | | raised in Everman; after high school, he attended the University of |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | North Texas and graduated with a bachelor's degree in education; he |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | then went on to enjoy a career spanning 32 years with the United |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Parcel Service; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A man who prioritized his family above all else, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Mr. Renfro shared more than three decades of marriage with the love |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | of his life, Karen Renfro; the couple raised three daughters, |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Sarah, Bethany, and Emily, and a son, Matthew; Mr. Renfro drew |

| 17 | 18 | | strength and inspiration from his abiding faith, and since 2016, he |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | had been an active member of Countryside Bible Church in Southlake, |

| 19 | 20 | | where he volunteered each week in the children's ministry; as a |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | father, he sought to impart his values and his love of scripture to |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | his children; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Although Mark Renfro is greatly missed, his loved |

| 23 | 24 | | ones may find comfort in remembering the devotion and |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | purposefulness with which he lived his life; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 26 | 27 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Mark Christopher |

| 27 | 28 | | Renfro and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of his family: |
