45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Evie Tsen-Ying Kao has been named valedictorian of
67 the Class of 2021 at Bellaire High School, and she indeed merits
78 special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and
89 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
910 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1011 highest academic standards; in securing her place as a top-ranking
1112 student in her class, Ms. Tsen-Ying Kao demonstrated a thorough
1213 understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of
1314 this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
1415 high school career; and
1516 WHEREAS, Ms. Tsen-Ying Kao completed her high school studies
1617 with an impressive grade point average of 5.0; following
1718 graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in business at The
1819 University of Texas at Austin; and
1920 WHEREAS, During her years at Bellaire High, Evie Tsen-Ying
2021 Kao has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and
2122 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment
2223 to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future
2324 for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby congratulate Evie Tsen-Ying Kao on graduating as
2627 valedictorian of the Bellaire High School Class of 2021 and extend
2728 to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the
2829 next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Ms. Tsen-Ying Kao as an expression of high regard by
3132 the Texas House of Representatives.
