| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Tyler Meredith of Scouts BSA Troop No. 181 in |

| 6 | 7 | | Lumberton has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this |

| 7 | 8 | | accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor |

| 9 | 10 | | bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting |

| 10 | 11 | | movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria, |

| 11 | 12 | | Mr. Meredith earned the requisite 21 merit badges and successfully |

| 12 | 13 | | completed an Eagle Scout project of benefit to his community; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, An Arrow of Light recipient and a Super Achiever, |

| 14 | 15 | | this fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding leadership |

| 15 | 16 | | ability throughout his scouting career, winning the respect and |

| 16 | 17 | | admiration of his fellow troop members as he worked toward the |

| 17 | 18 | | highest rank that the organization offers; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Meredith is a junior at Lumberton High School, |

| 19 | 20 | | where he has further distinguished himself as an accomplished |

| 20 | 21 | | student and as a valued member of the school's welding and fishing |

| 21 | 22 | | teams; he is also active in the youth group at Praise Church in |
|---|

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Meredith's dedication to excellence and |

| 24 | 25 | | his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy |

| 26 | 27 | | pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
