| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, During the regular schedule, the Pantherettes |

| 10 | 11 | | compiled an outstanding record of 23 wins and 3 losses and claimed |

| 11 | 12 | | the District 2-2A title; Panhandle then embarked on an exciting |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | postseason run, defeating the teams from Sunray, Farwell, Gruver, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | and New Home High Schools to advance to the regional finals; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Combining a stout defense with clutch shooting, the |

| 15 | 16 | | Pantherettes triumphed over Wellington High School by a score of |

| 16 | 17 | | 43-36 to punch their ticket to the state tournament; in the |

| 17 | 18 | | semifinals, the Panhandle players gave their all in a hard-fought |

| 18 | 19 | | battle, but ultimately fell to eventual state champion Lipan High |

| 19 | 20 | | School; the Pantherettes ended their memorable season with an |

| 20 | 21 | | impressive 28-4 record; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Excelling with a true team effort, the Pantherettes |
