| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Tamera J. Bounds was elected to the Mansfield City |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A resident of Mansfield for more than three decades, |

| 8 | 9 | | Ms. Bounds has served as a member of the city's Planning and Zoning |

| 9 | 10 | | Commission and the Complete Count Committee for the 2020 census, |

| 10 | 11 | | and she was co-chair of the Construction Codes Board of Adjustments |

| 11 | 12 | | and Appeals; moreover, she played an instrumental role in |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | developing the city's gas well ordinance and co-authored the DFW |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Clean Air Network Drone Project; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Bounds has further served her community through |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | her involvement with the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | League of Women Voters, and the Texas Land Trust Council; in |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | addition, she has served as president of the Woodland Estates |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | Homeowners Association for more than six years; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, A longtime physical therapist, Ms. Bounds has |

| 20 | 21 | | worked as a regional director of clinical, financial, and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | operational services for Rehab Pro for 17 years; in all her |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | endeavors, she enjoys the love and support of her husband, James, as |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | well as their 3 children and 11 grandchildren; and |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, The effective operation of government depends on the |

| 25 | 26 | | able and dedicated efforts of our public servants, and Tamera |

| 26 | 27 | | Bounds may indeed take pride in her accomplishments as she takes on |

| 27 | 28 | | this challenging new role; now, therefore, be it |

| 28 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
