| 11 | 12 | | Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 8, Ms. Brown |

| 12 | 13 | | clinched two gold medals in 6A events; in the 3,200 meters, she |

| 13 | 14 | | broke her own state meet record, clocking in at 9 minutes, 58.77 |

| 14 | 15 | | seconds, to best the second-place finisher by nearly 11 seconds; |

| 15 | 16 | | then, in her final high school race, she won the 1,600 meters in |

| 31 | 32 | | WHEREAS, One of the most dominant distance runners in Texas |
