| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, God'swill Osa has ably served his fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 7 | | an aide in the office of State Representative Trey Martinez Fischer |

| 7 | 8 | | during the 87th Legislative Session; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Osa has provided vital |

| 9 | 10 | | assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |

| 10 | 11 | | addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Osa earned a bachelor's degree in biology from |

| 14 | 15 | | Texas A&M University and a master's degree in political science |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | from The University of Texas at Dallas, and he also completed a |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | fellowship with the UT Archer Center Graduate Program in Public |

| 17 | 18 | | Policy and an internship with the New America Center on Education |

| 18 | 19 | | and Skills; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Currently pursuing a doctorate in government from UT |

| 20 | 21 | | Austin, Mr. Osa serves as a teaching assistant in the College of |

| 21 | 22 | | Liberal Arts and a research assistant with the Irma Rangel Public |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | Policy Institute; he has further contributed to his campus |

| 23 | 24 | | community as a member of the government department's diversity task |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | force and as copresident of its graduate student organization; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 26 | 27 | | duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 27 | 28 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
