6	6	WHEREAS, The House Business Office has played an essential
7	7	role in the activities of the Texas House of Representatives during
8	8	the Regular Session of the 87th Legislature; and
9	9	WHEREAS, This office is overseen by executive director James
10	10	Freeman, whose leadership and administrative abilities have been a
11	11	considerable asset to the legislature and to his staff; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Under the guidance of manager Scott Siebert, the
13	13	accounting department is composed of a dedicated staff that
14	14	includes Farrah Barron, Susan Crisci, Denyce Deadrick, Gerri
15	15	Foster, Veronica Morales, Donna Scott, and Alonzo Vidal; and
16	16	WHEREAS, Director Laura Hendrickson serves as head of the
17	17	House Research Organization, which is tasked with providing
18	18	impartial information to members of the house through its Daily
19	19	Floor Report and other publications; the HRO staff is composed of
20	20	members Alexandra Bangs, Robin Berghaus, Andrew Davis, Kellie
21	21	Dworaczyk, Janet Elliott, Casey Floren, Alison Hern, Jenna Keller,
22	22	Luke Landtroop, Kaulie Lewis, Michael Marchio, Andrew McNair,
23	23	MacKenzie Nunez, and Madison Smith; and
24	24	WHEREAS, The payroll and personnel department is led by
25	25	manager Ruben Aguillon, and he is supported in his duties by Zak
26	26	Dempsey, Erika Lacey, Barbara Mokry, Rob Morgan, Suzette Motal,
27	27	Diana Rodriguez, and Jennifer Soliz; and
28	28	WHEREAS, Guided by the expertise of manager Monti Perkins,
29	29	the photography department consists of staff members Tyler
30	30	Anderson, Tanya Fleming, Steven Moakley, and Kyle Woods; and
31	31	WHEREAS, Vernon Green oversees the task of dealing with the
32	32	vast assortment of mail that is part of a legislative session, and
33	33	he is aided in this endeavor by house post office employees Irene
34	34	Constancio, Joseph Frausto, Jacob Hernandez, and Michael
35	35	Rodriguez; and
36	36	WHEREAS, Working diligently to meet the inventory
37	37	requirements of house members and their staff are property
38	38	department manager Pat Mills and employees Robert Barrios, Frank
39	39	Caballero, Jesse Casarez, Ray Guerrero, Nat Mendez, Alex Rodriguez,
40	40	and Thomas Stites; and
41	41	WHEREAS, The purchasing and supply department, under the
42	42	direction of manager Amy Cadenhead, consists of Paul Hays, Kerby
43	43	Orton, Richard Parras, and Will Travis, all of whom help ensure the
44	44	expeditious handling of the supply needs of house offices; and
45	45	WHEREAS, Also doing their part to support the representatives
46	46	are reproduction department manager Scott Williams and staff
47	47	members Vincent Alva, Mary Anne Bell, David Cavazos, Dorothy Davis,
48	48	Deborah Hayes, Cindi Henry, Viviano Morales Jr., Roy Salas, Fred
49	49	Schattenberg, Erica Sebree, and Sue Watson; and
50	50	WHEREAS, Under the leadership of manager Gabriel Reyes, the
51	51	special services department is composed of Martha Aguilar, Troy
52	52	Cardona, Julia Hernandez, Mike King, Dolores Rodriguez, Troy Sager,
53	53	Briar Rose Salazar, and Daniel Valle Villar; and
54	54	WHEREAS, The skillful professionals behind the video and
55	55	audio department are manager Mike Blackwell, Larry Appleby,
56	56	Nathalie Cohetero, Corbin Heinchon, George Hewitt, Robert Igo, Jay
57	57	Koog Jr., Katrina Mahn, Michael Moore, Angela New, Willis Padron,
58	58	Brandon Pennick, and Abby Pettinos; and
59	59	WHEREAS, The hardworking and resourceful men and women of the
60	60	House Business Office have attended to their duties with
61	61	professionalism, efficiency, and remarkable energy, and they are
62	62	indeed deserving of our utmost appreciation; now, therefore, be it
63	63	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
64	64	Legislature hereby commend James Freeman and the employees of the
65	65	House Business Office for their outstanding work and extend to them
66	66	sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
67	67	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
68	68	prepared for Mr. Freeman and the business office staff as an
69	69	expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
