H.R. No. 1300
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Aiden Savetman of Allen High School distinguished
himself with his performance in the 2021-2022 Kids Teaching Kids
recipe book design competition; and
WHEREAS, Competing against students from 15 school districts
in North Texas, Mr. Savetman finished as the first runner-up, and
his exceptional design secured a $250 prize to benefit his school's
graphic design classroom; and
WHEREAS, Sponsored by Medical City Children's Hospital, the
recipe book is released in conjunction with the Kids Teaching Kids
21-Day Challenge, with the goal of encouraging good nutrition among
elementary school students; the book features recipes for healthy
snacks created by high school culinary arts students and registered
dietitians; and
WHEREAS, With his fine showing in the recipe book design
competition, Aiden Savetman has brought credit to his school, and
he may take justifiable pride in the skill and dedication he has
demonstrated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Aiden Savetman on placing second in
the 2021-2022 Kids Teaching Kids recipe book design competition and
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Savetman as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
