| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Faye Geremia has ably served her fellow Texans as a |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Geremia has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks |

| 10 | 11 | | such as analyzing the potential impact of proposed legislation, |

| 11 | 12 | | managing correspondence and communication with constituents, and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | preparing bill materials and documents; in addition to gaining |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |

| 15 | 16 | | of the Lone Star State; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Geremia holds a bachelor's degree in political |

| 17 | 18 | | science from the University of Houston, where she graduated magna |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | cum laude; prior to beginning her tenure with Representative Wu, |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | she was an intern in the Harris County Clerk's Office, and she has |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | served as an intern, office manager, and deputy field organizer for |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | several political campaigns; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |

| 23 | 24 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |

| 24 | 25 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
