45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Faye Geremia has ably served her fellow Texans as a
67 legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu
78 during the 87th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Geremia has provided
910 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks
1011 such as analyzing the potential impact of proposed legislation,
1112 managing correspondence and communication with constituents, and
1213 preparing bill materials and documents; in addition to gaining
1314 valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned
1415 more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
1516 of the Lone Star State; and
1617 WHEREAS, Ms. Geremia holds a bachelor's degree in political
1718 science from the University of Houston, where she graduated magna
1819 cum laude; prior to beginning her tenure with Representative Wu,
1920 she was an intern in the Harris County Clerk's Office, and she has
2021 served as an intern, office manager, and deputy field organizer for
2122 several political campaigns; and
2223 WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a
2324 legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
2425 deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
2526 be it
2627 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2728 Legislature hereby commend Faye Geremia for her service as a
2829 legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and
2930 extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
3031 endeavors; and, be it further
3132 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3233 prepared for Ms. Geremia as an expression of high regard by the
3334 Texas House of Representatives.
