45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Sarah Campbell has ably served her fellow Texans as
67 a policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu
78 during the 87th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Campbell has provided
910 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
1011 which have included conducting research pertaining to criminal and
1112 juvenile justice; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the
1213 field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative
1314 process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
1415 WHEREAS, Ms. Campbell earned her bachelor's degree in
1516 criminal justice from the University of Oklahoma in 2019, and she is
1617 currently enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin, where she
1718 is expected to graduate with a master's degree in public affairs in
1819 May 2022; she has focused on criminal and juvenile justice policy in
1920 her coursework, and she has served as a volunteer for both the Texas
2021 Prison Education Initiative and the Texas Fair Defense Project; and
2122 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
2223 duties as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and she is
2324 indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
2425 therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby commend Sarah Campbell for her service as a
2728 policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and
2829 extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
2930 endeavors; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Ms. Campbell as an expression of high regard by the
3233 Texas House of Representatives.
