| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Landon L. Self of Pflugerville has ably served his |

| 7 | 8 | | James White during the 87th Legislative Session; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Self has provided vital |

| 9 | 10 | | assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |

| 10 | 11 | | addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Self currently attends Hendrickson High School, |

| 14 | 15 | | where he has distinguished himself through his involvement in the |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | National Honor Society and University Interscholastic League |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Academics, and he has also volunteered with the Pflugerville Teen |

| 17 | 18 | | Court; the founder and current president of the Pflugerville |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | Republican Youth Club, he has participated in city council and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | congressional campaigns and interned with the Trump Victory |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | Leadership Initiative; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 22 | 23 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 23 | 24 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
