45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Landon L. Self of Pflugerville has ably served his
67 fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative
78 James White during the 87th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Self has provided vital
910 assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in
1011 addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
1112 service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
1213 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
1314 WHEREAS, Mr. Self currently attends Hendrickson High School,
1415 where he has distinguished himself through his involvement in the
1516 National Honor Society and University Interscholastic League
1617 Academics, and he has also volunteered with the Pflugerville Teen
1718 Court; the founder and current president of the Pflugerville
1819 Republican Youth Club, he has participated in city council and
1920 congressional campaigns and interned with the Trump Victory
2021 Leadership Initiative; and
2122 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
2223 duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is
2324 indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
2425 therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby commend Landon L. Self for his service as a
2728 legislative intern in the office of State Representative James
2829 White and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in
2930 all his endeavors; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Mr. Self as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3233 House of Representatives.
