5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, John Alexander has ably served his fellow Texans as |

8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Alexander's resourcefulness and initiative have |

9 | 10 | | earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his contributions to |

10 | 11 | | carrying forth Representative White's legislative agenda have |
---|
11 | 12 | | helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; |

12 | 13 | | his duties have included training and supervising legislative |

13 | 14 | | staff, monitoring activity on the house floor, and handling |

14 | 15 | | long- and short-term legislative planning for the representative; |

16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A former intelligence analyst for the U.S. Navy, |

17 | 18 | | Mr. Alexander recently served as a senior intern with the U.S. |

18 | 19 | | Senate and as a field organizer for the Republican Party of Texas; |

19 | 20 | | he holds a bachelor's degree in political communication from The |

20 | 21 | | University of Texas at Austin; and |

21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |

22 | 23 | | duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is |

23 | 24 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
