| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |

| 8 | 9 | | Creek Lake legislative day on March 3, 2021; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, More than 75,000 Texans reside near Cedar Creek |

| 10 | 11 | | Lake, which encompasses over 30,000 acres and features more than |

| 11 | 12 | | 300 miles of picturesque shoreline; locals and tourists alike take |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | advantage of the lake by engaging in a wide range of outdoor |

| 13 | 14 | | activities, including boating, fishing, swimming, camping, and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | golfing; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, With a healthy blend of residential and business |

| 16 | 17 | | interests, the region has much to offer citizens of over a dozen |

| 17 | 18 | | quaint towns, and while all of these towns are proud of their |

| 18 | 19 | | individual identities, they also together share the values and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | ideals of a caring, close-knit community; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Cedar Creek Lake is one of our state's true |

| 21 | 22 | | treasures, and residents justifiably take great pride in the beauty |

| 22 | 23 | | and character of the surrounding area; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby honor the Cedar Creek Lake area and extend to its |

| 25 | 26 | | citizens sincere best wishes for the future. |
