| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Xochitl Ramirez has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 7 | 8 | | Hubert Vo during the 87th Legislature; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of her tenure, Ms. Ramirez has |

| 9 | 10 | | helped ensure the efficient operation of the office while handling |

| 10 | 11 | | a wide range of challenging tasks; with diligence and dedication, |

| 11 | 12 | | she has utilized social media to spread awareness of various |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | programs and events beneficial to the constituents of House |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | District 149; along the way, she has earned the respect and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | admiration of her colleagues for her keen attention to detail, for |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | her varied expertise, and for the care with which she approaches |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Prior to her role as communications director, |

| 18 | 19 | | Ms. Ramirez served the office as a legislative aide, and her |

| 19 | 20 | | contributions to carrying forth Representative Vo's legislative |

| 20 | 21 | | agenda have helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone |

| 21 | 22 | | Star State; and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, A native Texan, Ms. Ramirez graduated from |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | Como-Pickton High School and is currently a senior at Texas A&M |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | University in College Station; in all her endeavors, she has been |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | blessed with the support of a loving family, which includes her |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | parents, Alicia and Hulfrano Ramirez, her siblings, Diana and |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | Emilio Ramirez, and her future brother-in-law, Vicente Sanchez; and |

| 28 | 29 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |

| 29 | 30 | | duties as communications director with skill and commitment, and |
|---|
| 30 | 31 | | she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; |
