56 WHEREAS, Diamond Raye Benavidez-Barrera has been named
67 valedictorian of the Class of 2021 at Roy Miller High School in
78 Corpus Christi, and she indeed merits special recognition for
89 receiving this significant honor; and
910 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
1011 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1112 highest academic standards; in securing her place as the
1213 top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Benavidez-Barrera
1314 demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects,
1415 and her attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning
1516 achievement of a notable high school career; and
1617 WHEREAS, During her years at Roy Miller High School, Diamond
1718 Benavidez-Barrera has earned the respect and admiration of both her
1819 teachers and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and
1920 commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
2021 promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,
2122 be it
2223 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2324 Legislature hereby congratulate Diamond Raye Benavidez-Barrera on
2425 graduating as valedictorian of the Roy Miller High School Class of
2526 2021 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as
2627 she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for Ms. Benavidez-Barrera as an expression of high regard
2930 by the Texas House of Representatives.
